Plaza España, between the city centre and the old town

It is located at the end of Gran via.It is one of the largest squares of Madrid, this square is surrounded by the first skyscrapers builded in the city between the XX century: Torre Madrid and the Edificio España.

It is visible that there are no stores around this square. But if you walk few mille further you will encounter with multiple stores, restaurants, cinemas, bars , traditional markets and fashion stores.

From Plaza España you can easily get to the Egyptian Templo de Debod a curious gift received from the Egyptian government in 1968. And the Parque del Oeste is a huge park where you can have a romantic date, do footing or enjoy the precious views to the Cathedral de la Almudena or to the Palacio Real.
