The neighborhood of Chueca has become one of the trendiest areas of Madrid. It has an enormous activity of stores, bars and cultural offerings. In Chueca we find some open spaces permanently full of people, such as the square that gives its name to the neighborhood. We will also see fashion stores with exclusive products that are not anywhere else, public markets converted into meeting places, museums, unique buildings, some religious buildings, associations, art galleries, many bars and restaurants and some hotels. In addition, there are underground establishments such as tattoo shops, specialized bookstores or sex shops. On the other hand, Chueca is one of the best known gay neighborhoods in Europe and a reference for the LGBT community worldwide.
