That neighbourhood is Embajadores. It’s not us who say it, but the British magazine Time Out, which ranks the 50 coolest neighborhoods of the moment.
If you think about which should be the best neighborhoods in the world, you may be inclined towards Manhattan (New York), Notting Hill (London), or Madrid, the traditional neighborhood of Salamanca.
You wouldn’t be mistaken, but the coolest neighbourhoods on the planet are those where visitors seek to enjoy good restaurants – even if these aren’t the best or the most expensive ones – as well as having a good time in pubs or mimicking the nightlife and street culture as if they were just another inhabitant of the neighbourhood, not a tourist.
The British travel magazine Time Out set out to elaborate this ranking to look for these special neighbourhoods and the first place on the list is occupied by no less than the Madrid neighbourhood of Embajadores, one of the oldest and most traditional in the capital and at the same time an example of multiculturalism.
At Mi Casa Inn we already knew that Embajadores was one of the best neighborhoods to live in, which is why we decided that one of our first and 6).
And following, shortly we will inaugurate our new Residence ATOCHA RIO (Santa MarÃa de la Cabeza, 70), in the heart of Embajadores. Because not only the neighborhood is the coolest… we are too ; )
